Healthy dinner.... dagwood dog smothered in tomato sauce, with some fried chips.

My own personal highlight; and something to finally
cross off my lifelong ToDo list. Slayer, in blazen glory,
rocked our goddamn socks off.
Absolutely amazing.

We started off in the moshpit. My can got

a little squashed in the frenzy.

Marshall amps are the perfect stage set for these guys.

Queens of the Stone Age. Josh is, deadset,

the sexiest redhead in music.

This is after a few whiskeys....

I have a deep and meaningful conversation with this dude about

the movie stars adorning his skin.

My favourite is Clint Eastwood (on his left flank)

and we discuss our favourite spaghetti westerns.

Iron Maiden.

We saw them a couple of years ago and figured they wouldn't be back -

they are in their fifties after all... but no, they're back,

and spoiling us with a full blown 2-hour gig to finish off the day.

Amazing!

Bruce Dickinson runs, jumps and dances like he has

ants in his pants. It's unreal how much energy

he beholds on stage.

My darling of bass, Steve Harris.

Everyone's favourite mascot, Eddy,

makes his appearance at the end of the gig.

The festival is over but the night is young.

Adelaide locals and new friends Anna and Dion take us

under their wing and show us Hineley St to

conclude the evening.

So after 1/2 litre of whiskey each, a can of CC/Dry,

a few beers and a shot, we finally draw the evening

to a close.

There's a lot of man-love around.

This morning at the caravan park.....

we figure taking a swim is the way to start the day.

It's about 10am and I can still hear Slayer and Iron Maiden

in my head which puts a smile on my face!

Dead set, this was the most truly outstanding day for music,

and again, I can't help but feel completely

in love with the people of Adelaide.
