Our last effort in the boat was a bust - tremendous winds and violent waves meant we could only stay out for a short while. Drenched, and fishless, we headed back to camp. Here, our friends Helen and Terry are also persevering in the surf in their little tinny (so you can imagine what it would have been like in an inflatable boat like ours!!!). They, too, left the water without fish; drenched to the skin.
We also dropped by Turquoise Bay for one last snorkel but it was too cloudy to get a really good view.
Upon leaving Ningaloo, we spotted this roo taking a drink of water form this fresh water tap, and also some grass..... I mean, an echidna!!!!
