We cooked two curries - a spicy one (Chicken Bahati or something) and a mild (Butter Chicken). It was quite challenging though - the only yoghurt on hand was fat-free, and both recipes called for quite a bit of it!
It was tremendous fun working in a commercial kitchen - it was very noisy and quite cluttered, as 3 people tried to work in a confined space. Exhaust fans ran loudly and hot plates and grillers burned fiercely. I've never seen so many large containers of things, like 4lt bottles of cream, huge sacks of flour and big bins of rice!
Michael, the chef, was extremely tolerant of having two food-crashers in his territory, and even got a giggle or two when I tried to communicate but was unable due to having a wicked case of acute laryngitis! Michael even gave me his bell so I could ring it; as Jase wasn;t very good at responding to my whispers, "h-e-y-j-a-s-e, w-h-a-t-a-b-o-u-t-s-u-c-h-a-n-d-s-u-c-hhhhhhh"!!
The staff deemed the food edible enough, and there was no leftovers, and no talking over the dinner table, just lots of chewing.
What fun!!!!
