Hiking through this rainforest will reveal to you fast-flowing rivers and tall thin waterfalls.

A heavy scotch mist fell for the 2 days we were here, so, without sunlight, the van almost ran out of power.  But it was worth it; the forest is thick, crawling with insects and leeches, and smells absolutely wonderful.

Two stray roosters wandered cautiously out of the forest and, after being fed a handful of muesli, decided our camp was their home during our stay.
